Environmental initiatives include new village flower planters and bulb planting, the litter picking group, the Path for All initiative and the 20s plenty scheme.  Ideas are shared on sustainable, gardening, shopping, food growing, composting etc.

We include local businesses, individuals, projects or organisations who are finding ways to care for and protect our wildlife, such as tree planting projects, wild flower meadow creations, the Millennium Wildlife Garden, the Ryevitalise project, the NYM National Park Dark Skies Reserve with info on how we can help.

Future plans include assistance with insulation, electric vehicles, solar panels, and air/ ground source heating systems.
